It is all about the standard of care we offer. We have a vastly experienced staff who bring humour and fun to their work whilst still providing a fully professional and committed service.
It is clear when you walk around The Hall the relationships that have been built up between all staff and residents. We realise the importance of getting the right personalities as we understand the need for a great sense of humour and a high standards in all of our staff whether they are carers, domestics, maintenance team , kitchen or management.
To use the term idyllic would be an understatement for the Hall. The building is an English Rose in the centre of a chocolate box village in the heart of the North Yorkshire countryside - handy for York , Pickering , Whitby and Scarborough. Thornton-le-Dale is a beautiful village with an array of charming tea rooms, shops and pubs with a vibrant community and churches nearby. The village also has guest houses where family members can visit who live further away.
The Hall is maintained and decorated to a high standard to achieve the home sweet home feel. All of the grounds and gardens are kept impeccablly so that they can be enjoyed all year round. Please feel free to wander around the grounds and walk down by the stream to feed the ducks.
We realise the difficulties facing families when they live and work away and so do everything we can to keep all family members involved and informed to our residents' health , progress and well-being. This has proved invaluable to all families and carers to show our commitment to ongoing clear communication.
The Hall is also fortunate to have its own pub and restaurant next door for any residents who wish to entertain guests or have a late night drink with the locals.This has proved very popular with our long time residents giving them all the freedom of a night out without having to brave the elements.
We pride ourselves in having a talented and enthusiastic Activities Co-ordinator who is committed to putting smiles on everybody's faces and creating a fun , vibrant atmosphere and community in the homes.

the Hall has qualified staff on duty twenty four hours a day. We aim to provide the best care, support and advice by:
